Today I want to talk about thoracic spine rotation, which is crucial for pitchers. First off, check out this video on the pivot pick to help illustrate the importance of being able to rotate adequately through the t-spine if you want to throw at an elite level.
If you want to A) get into good counter-rotation; and B) hold counter-rotation as long as possible in order to create good positive disconnection; you need to have a certain amount of thoracic spine mobility.
Here are some of my favourite mobility drills for this, and they require no equipment!
